One of our favourite beaches is only a 30 minute drive away at Portiragnes. The sandy beach goes on forever and the sea is always crystal blue, with stunning views as it meets the horizon. We go to the Ouest Plage as dogs are allowed on this part of the beach and there is always plenty of space. This is not a commercial beach – parking is free, there are a couple of portaloos, a sailing school and a small cafe but it comes highly recommended!
