Maison Flamant was a delight! For our family of 11 (3 generations), this lovely, spacious home provided us with everything we needed to make our week in the South of France relaxing and memorable. Claire and Peter have done an amazing job restoring and renewing this historical treasure. From arrival (we were an hour late, but Claire was still there to offer a watm greeting and quick tour) to departure, we always felt right at home. Bedrooms/baths accommodated our group quite well. The kitchen was large, equipped with everything we needed to prepare wonderful meals for our crew. And with so many available "gathering rooms" (family room with TV, billiard room, games room, piano/study, upper-level deck/balcony, etc.), we never felt crowded or "on top of each other." And the pool was a real treat! In sum, Maison Flamant and the village of St-Geniès-de-Fontedit was, for us, the perfect "home base" to explore and experience all that this beautiful region has to offer.

This was a superlative Airbnb stay in every way. Super responsive, friendly, helpful host. Beautiful, thoughtfully designed property with great space and lovely details.
We stayed at this exquisite place in early August 2024. We all agreed that the decor and fixtures and fittings were of the highest standard. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Every possible thought has gone into making this a fabulous stay for a large blended/extended family or friends. With pool table, table tennis, tv room, laundry, pizza oven and bbq, not forgetting the lovely swimming pool overlooked by a mezzanine floor.
The village is extremely quiet, surrounded by vineyards on all sides, however Beziers and the beaches were an easy drive away of approximately 20-30 mins. The local bar, Boulangerie and Epicerie were all in easy walking distance through this stunning 12th century village. We all had a wonderful time and our ages ran from 14-76. Thank you Claire.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maison Flamant. The house is stunning with beautiful decor, tiles, lightening and furniture. The flamingo theme throughout the property is great fun. These is so much space with something for everyone - private courtyard, swimming pool, games room, grand piano and comfortable lounge etc! The house is located in a charming little town with a bakery and shop for all your essentials (pastries, baguettes and cheese). The owners have done a fabulous job. Would recommend highly to anyone and look forward to staying again in the future.
I have just returned from a fabulous stay in Maison Flamant. This holiday home is spectacular, even the photos don’t do it justice. Beautiful decor, everything you could need is included. The children were overwhelmed with entertainment and didn’t want to leave to explore the gorgeous countryside, although we did manage to visit Montpellier and Carcassonne and the local market in Pezenas.
Our most favourite part of Maison Flamant was the courtyard and pool area where we sunbathed, swam and eat bread and cheese from the local shop.
I highly recommend this and would love to return. It is beautiful!
The house is just beautiful and we enjoyed an amazing week holidaying with friends. There is so much to do in the house and also in the surrounding area. I would highly recommend this property. We loved it. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We visited Maison Flamant as part of a large group, and what a joy it was. Such a spacious and welcoming place to stay, with quirky features at every turn. I especially loved the dining room with its original trough feature, dating back from the days of it being a stable. Another favourite of mine was the outside dining area, where many lengthy lunches were spent feasting on fresh tomatoes, bread, tapenade and cheeses with the odd glass of wine- well, we were in France after all.
The surrounding village offered a bar which we lost the younger members of the group to on occasions, and some lovely walks. We travelled further afield to the market in Pezenas, exploring the old town on one day, to the mountains on another, and even tried our hand at canoeing which was very entertaining for everybody.
Thank you for being amazing hosts, nothing was too much trouble, and the information you provided was really helpful. We can't wait to book again for next year. Salute.

You can tell how much love, time and effort has gone into renovating every room in the house. It’s simply perfect.
The house has everything you need from a games room, a pool, a sun terrace and a lovely large outside table for all the family to sit round.
I can’t recommend enough. I’m looking forward to returning in 2024!
Maison Flamant is a lovely and spacious home loving restored by Claire and Peter.
Set in a secluded spot in the courtyard of the old Château in the centre of the village close to the bar (excellent food), boulangerie, and local convenience stores. It offered something for everyone with all sorts of games available and a private courtyard pool. We often lost the kids in this cavernous house as they were off somewhere playing pool/table tennis/table football/watching a film. Leaving us adults to have a nice peaceful glass of wine and goûté in the courtyard 😉
We stayed at Maison Flamant for a week during the summer and we absolutely loved our stay! The rooms are spacious and clean, and the pool area is fantastic. A perfect place to spend your afternoons relaxing.
The area surrounding the house is fun to explore. The beach isn’t too far and there are plenty of towns, markets, and rivers to enjoy.
Overall, I would highly recommend staying here for your French holiday!
Spent an incredible week at Maison Flamant exploring the south of France. The house is recently remodeled with great amenities and features including a fantastic kitchen. Large home with multiple gather places, pool, and comfortable rooms. I’d definitely recommend staying here for your trip!
The Murray family have been lucky enough to stay at Maison Flamont a number of times and I cannot recommend it enough.
The house is fabulous, the bedrooms all have their original charm (we had the upstairs en-suite) and the additional space of games room, pool room worked really well for us.
The swimming pool area and outdoor dining space are perfect and the terrace provides some much needed chillout space.
The village is great (highly recommend the bar and boulangerie) and we enjoyed our early evening walks. It is also an easy drive to some fantastic tourist spots. We loved the local gourges and you are surrounded by wineries but the beach is only half an hour away too.
We will definitiely be back!

The local village is quaint and there is lots to see in the surrounding areas. Highlights of the trip include walking along the mountains at Les Aires with the dogs, enjoying the wide range of games and activities at the house and the outstanding hospitality shown by our hosts.

We go on holiday "en famille" every year, and we unanimously agreed this was the best holiday ever, mainly due to the accommodation.
The house is beautiful; equipped to a very high standard and the layout worked perfectly for the family (aged 10-80). Space for everyone, but fantastic communal spaces too, so were able to make the most of the time we had. Really couldn't ask for more.

Claire and Peter were the perfect hosts - offering not only delicious, thoughtfully prepared meals but also warm, engaging conversation and attentive care in every aspect - and I can't forget to mention the adorable dogs, Zola and Obi - these furry companions quickly became an important part of our break.
The local area had a lot to offer too, with picturesque villages and epic walks just a short drive away, and of course, boulangeries at every turn!

In my life time i have stayed in hotels around the world ,but none of them had the charactor and the history that this building holds . And the simplicity of just enjoying what it is is what you get ,no airs no graces. The swimming pool was good ,and the surrounding area was like a spin off from the building we atayed at

They all commented on how clean, spacious, and comfortable the house was. I had a lovely week staying in this large house. It is welcoming from the moment you walk into the Courtyard. Beautiful scented flowers next to sunbeds and a swimming pool. The kitchen has full amenities which our group used daily. The bedrooms are lovely, with shared bathrooms on each floor. Relaxing room downstairs which we used for our zoom meeting. A games room downstairs too, but I didn't use that room. A large balcony to look over the courtyard and pool. Air con in all bedrooms and fans in other areas. The energy in the house is lovely. The couple who own it are very friendly. I would stay here again.

This place has so much character, and you can immediately tell that the owners have paid exceptional attention to detail, ensuring that everything is both completely user-friendly and beautifully reflective of the traditional French architecture synonymous with the surrounding village.
The pool is amazing and the perfect way to cool off after a hot day in the sun! There are also air-conditioning units in every room, which kept us cool and comfortable throughout the night, so there is no need to worry about how hot the weather may be.
We truly couldn’t recommend this place more highly. There is even table football, table tennis, and every board game you could possibly need! ♟️⭐️☀️🏊
The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, and they genuinely made us feel like part of the family during our stay. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer!

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, it has been beautifully renovated. The house is so spacious and has fantastic facilities, many hours were spent having pool and table tennis competitions!
There is much to do in the local area, Rochebrun, Bezier to name a few, a must is a visit to Pézenas market. Hosts Claire and Peter were so helpful, Looking forward to our next visit.

This place is an absolute gem to find. The renovation has been done to the highest quality, whilst sympathetically keeping the French charm and style.
The village is quant, with a mediaeval vibe due to the ancient fort and buildings. Nevertheless, the people are very friendly.
Claire and Peter are amazing hosts, very friendly and welcoming. I feel completely at home. The food is superb and wholesome. Claire has been so accommodating it will be difficult to leave.
