Well Peter and I (plus dogs Zola and Obi) officially relocated to Maison Flamant on 1st May! It has been a busy few weeks sorting the house out ready for the letting season and settling ourselves into our new home and community. We have rekindled friendships that have been made over the past 8 years and made new ones too; explored the beautiful countryside with the dogs; spent a lot of time cleaning and doing laundry; eaten fabulous food (mostly cheese!) and joined in with village life – the Foire des Grenouilles (Frog Fair) probably being the highlight of this! We hosted our first B&B guest last week and are now looking forward to a summer of gite rentals starting on 19th June.
